Village Hall logoVillage Hall Refurbishment - Fund Raising

The Village Hall Committee has been saving towards the refurbishment project for some years. That has been made possible by support from the Village Fete which donates half the proceeds to the Village Hall. The Hall Committee is very grateful for that support which has enabled them to save £25,000.

The Parish Council has also saved some £35,000 towards the project. The Borough Council has pledged £18,750 and the County £12,500. Two major trusts have given us a total of £81,000. NatWest CommunityForce has awarded us £6275 and the Vitacress Charitable Fund has given us £1,937. Our local appeal, launched in August 2011 has raised over £56,000.

Fund raising events arranged by the Hall Committee and users are shown below. Other events such as a Longparish 10K running race, a clay shoot and an auction of promises are being discussed and details of these and further events will be added when they are available.
