St. Nicholas church enjoys a beautiful setting at the western end of Longparish, in the heart of the old settlement of Middleton. Christians have been meeting and worshipping here since the early 13th century and continue to do so today.
The church is open every day for visitors, who are of course welcome to come in and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of the church.
We offer a range of services throughout each month, at different times and of different styles, to try to provide something suitable for everyone. We would be delighted to welcome you to any of our services. Details of the services and their times can be found on the "services" page.
Together with the other churches in the benefice, we run a programme of midweek study groups, in which we meet in small groups to discuss particular themes or passages from the bible. A prayer group meets fortnightly, usually on a Monday evening to pray specifically for issues of local concern. There is also a reading group which meets every 6 weeks to discuss a book which the members have read prior to the meeting. Details of all these meetings can be found on the "what's on" page, or by contacting one of the clergy or churchwardens (contact details on the "who's who" page).
We look forward to welcoming you.
