At the Cricket Field

This year Richard Cartridge from Solent Radio has kindly offered to open our fete which will provide something for everyone.

From noon there will be a Family B.B.Q. with a bar run by Steve and Elaine from the Cricketers Inn. You may either partake of some of our delicious cooked food or bring your own picnic. You will be able to listen to music provided by Test Valley Brass and be entertained by our Clown. There will be a great atmosphere.
During the afternoon there will be many attractions.

Bouncy castle
Practice in the new Cricket nets with an expert
Coconut shy
Bottle stall
Whisky draw
Plant stall
Grand draw
Skittles
Plants and produce
Junior races
Teas
Ice creams
And a range of other side shows
Also to add to the interest there will be
a showman’s steam engine.

Admission for this year’s fete will be
Adults £1 Senior citizens 50p Children Free

Longparishioners please read the enclosed sheet giving details of stalls and contacts for your generous donations. Collection can be arranged if you are unable to deliver.

The jumble sale held on April 13th raised £835 for the Nick Jonas Chemotherapy Ward at RCH in Winchester. The organisers would like to thank all those who supported them in reaching this splendid total.

In the afternoon there is a chance to visit some of the most delightful gardens of the village for £3, payable at the first one you visit.
