The cemetery is looking good but the surface is uneven in some places. That makes it is hard work to mow and difficult for older relatives to reach some graves. Clive Kent, who keeps it in such good order, needs topsoil to fill some of the dips. If you can help please contact Clive or David Gould, the Clerk to the Burial Board david.gould@longparish.org.uk or tel 720709 or me jeremy.barber@longparish.org.uk Thank you. Jeremy Barber (tel 720459).
Many thanks to all the ladies who so faithfully arrange flowers in our church week by week. We are certainly fortunate to have such a lot of talent in our village. Eila Chamberlen has just taken over the organisation of the flower rota. Many thanks to Babs Duxbury who has organised the rota so conscientiously for so many years. We are delighted that you are continuing to be on the rota, Babs.
