LONGPARISH PARISH PLAN
Update on consultations.
We are close to the end of this phase of the consultation process and, once it is complete, the analysis of responses will commence. A questionnaire will then be sent to all residents to ensure that everyone's views are considered before the plan is drafted.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to these discussions over recent weeks. We were delighted that so many people joined in. It will shortly be possible to view the summaries of these discussion groups on the website. Watch this space!
Meanwhile, for those who have not yet been involved, and wish to comment, (topics were listed in January 2004 Hill & Valley) your views can be emailed to: Fiona.gould@longparish.org.uk , or you can drop a note to her at 5, Forton.

2004 Make something happen in your village
In the rural villages of Test Valley many people of all ages and abilities face isolation. This is for many reasons poor transport facilities often being the main one.
Would you like to see more activities for older people, children and families or disabled people based in your village? Test Valley Community Services may be able to give advice and to help you to access funding. Our team could support an existing group or help a new one to become established. Our services are free to voluntary and community groups, and we want to encourage initiatives in rural areas.
Please contact Greg Alexander on 01794 519998
or email romsey@tvcs.org.uk .

Test Valley Borough Council kindly arranged a series of Tae Kwon Do sessions for the 9-11 year old pupils and these have proved to be very popular.
Two children from Year 6 were invited to take part in a writers' workshop organised by First Partnership and two boys from Year 4 who are learning the clarinet had the opportunity to play with other pupils at John Hanson School for a workshop organised
