In the past months we have enjoyed an illustrated talk on Test Valley Churches, a theatre trip and a talk about fire safety from a fire officer. Our next meeting will be on May 20 th at 7.30 pm in the Village Hall where Susan from South Wonston will bring a selection of hats and using songs entertain us.
There is always a warm welcome extended to anyone who would like to join one of our meetings. If you need a lift please contact Gloria Goodliffe on 720 425.
Why not put your business on the village website have a look at those businesses that are already up there.
Do you have a business that might be of interest or use to villagers and beyond?
It pays to advertise! (and it's free to businesses in the village!)
We continue with Scramblers , an informal service for preschool children with their carers and for year R from the school with their teacher and 2 helpers from Year 6. We have a story, songs, a craft activity and finish with refreshments. Meetings are on the 3 rd Monday of the month at 2.15pm.
Next meeting : May 17 th Jesus is King
Our family services , on the 3 rd Sunday of the month at 11am, cater for all ages, not just children. The first part of the service is more child-friendly, and then the children go into the belfry for craft activities associated with the service, while we move on to a more adult-centred part of the service. Meeting up again over coffee, we can all see what the children have been making. Next service
We also have Junior Church on the first Sunday of the month, meeting in the belfry at the same time as the 9.30am Communion Service. The children and helpers join us to come up to the Communion rail for a blessing.
With these provisions, and a donation which has bought lots of extra equipment, we are more able to cater for all members of God's family in our church services. Do come and see.

At the end of last year the Church and Parish Council started to work together on a scheme to welcome newcomers to our village. Our first welcome evening, on a snowy, frosty evening in January was very successful.
The system of having neighbourhood links, to look out for new people and visit them, is well organised, but we need a co-ordinator to take on the paperwork and to act as a link between Church, Parish Council and neighbourhood representatives. This is not a time-consuming task at all, and if you feel you can do it, it would be an enormous help. Please contact me. Thank you! Nona Harrison tel. 720215
