LONGPARISH FETE 2005
LONGPARISH FETE will be held once again this year at Longparish House and we are most grateful to Robin Kelton and Marilyn Nash for their kindness in inviting everyone!
The date is Saturday SEPTEMBER 10th . It's a little later than usual, perhaps more an Autumn Fair this year than a summer fete, but the weather was exceptionally kind last year and so we hope for the same this time.
As ever, we welcome the ideas and participation of as many people as possible. Although the 'obvious' intention is to raise money (for the Village Hall and the Church) the greater aim is for everyone in the village to enjoy a day together in a beautiful place and with a lot of fun things to do.
If you're willing to help, have brilliant ideas or just want to know more please call:

The playgroup was inspected in February and is delighted with its Ofsted report. But one aspect needs to be improved and funds for the new building don't run to outdoor play equipment. So three supporters are running the London Marathon on 17 April. Please sponsor them. Alice Evans, Playgroup treasurer and her husband Jonathan are both hoping to break three hours and Jeremy Barber, husband of Supervisor Maggie, will try to beat four. There will be sponsor forms going round soon and in the shop.
