Longparish Midsummer Fun Day - June 10th

The newly formed Longparish Community Association is responding to a need identified during the Parish Plan consultation. You, the villagers, said that you would like more community events. As a response June 10th has been chosen to hold the first Longparish Midsummer Fun Day. The aim of the day is FUN, not to raise funds. As a village everyone over the past few years has done very well at raising huge sums of money for various good causes. Hopefully the programme includes something for everyone.

If you need a lift or can offer one to any of the * events please contact Andy Smith, Jeremy Barber or Gloria Goodliffe. In the evening please walk. If you bring a car fill it up and use the village hall car parks unless you have mobility problems due to age or illness: This is to try to keep everyone safe as they move about the site.

If it rains, all events will still take place. The evening arrangements will move to the Community Hall but numbers will have to be limited to the first 100 tickets sold. Unfortunately the picnic/BBQ part of the evening will have to be cancelled but you are still welcome to bring your own drinks along and enjoy the entertainment in the dry.

An all day ticket gives you priority for an inside ticket in the evening should the weather be wet. Refunds will be given on evening tickets in the event of rain if the hall is full. Tickets for the evening will be available on the day at a cost of £5 regardless of membership status.

Tickets and membership forms are available from Jeremy Barber on 720459, Andrea Hulme on 720347, Sandra Jones on 720551, Gloria Goodliffe on 720425 and Linda Blundell on 720522.
