Thank you to everyone who helped and supported this year’s fete. As usual many people were extremely generous with their time, their money and their garden gazebos! We needed the gazebos especially badly this year as it was a rather damp and windy day. Naturally the weather did put people off and our takings were slightly down this year but we still made a good profit of well around £4600 which is shared equally between the church and the village hall. The money is very important to these two village resources and greatly appreciated. I hope everyone enjoyed the day and that the fete has as much support next year. It’s not too early to volunteer!

Once again I would like to say a big thank you to everyone who sold tickets before and on the day and congratulations to all our winners.
Something’s stirring at the bottom of the garden. Yes it’s pumpkin time again. We are starting at 4 to make it easier for parents to bring children. Hot dogs and light refreshments will be available(no charge but donations welcome) to keep hungry people going while the judges do their stuff. This year we are pleased to welcome Wendy Beveridge from Kenyons in Andover as our judge.
All entries are free but please support the raffle (in aid of playgroup) and bring a raffle prize if you can.
There will be prizes for decorated pumpkins, prettiest pumpkin and the most unusual pumpkin as well as the usual prizes for size for all ages. Last year's winners included one over 200lbs and one of under two ounces so don't worry if yours is small.
