Report

We welcomed three new runners from Austria for this month's race, Magda, Monika and Alexandra. They brought the number of runners up to 19, the most since the all time high in August. The weather was overcast and Novemberish but the rain held off. Liz Mayon-White put in a very strong performance to finish first and nearly a minute ahead of the field. Well done. First man home was Jeremy Barber who Jack presents the trophies to Liz and Jeremyturned in a new personal best only a week after the New York Marathon.

Thanks go to David for doing the signs, Maggie and Emma for catering, Jack and Katy for marshalling and the Cricket Club for the venue.

Next month we start at the normal time of 10am on Sunday 14 December at the Cricket Ground. To celebrate the festive season we'll have mulled wine and mince pies as part of the post-race refreshments.

We hope you'll also be able to come to the second Great Longparish Santa Dash on Boxing Day. More details will be on the website when they are available. We expect to start at 11 and to finish at a pub (now there's a surprise).
