The Plough Inn Committee, Longparish Parish Council


  1. The Committee will have at least three Members and quorum shall be three Members.
  1. The Committee will meet as necessary. Meetings may be called by the Chairman of the Committee, the Chairman of the Parish Council, or at the request of two Members.
  1. A Chairman may be appointed by the Parish Council at the annual meeting of the Council, or by Members of the Committee.
  1. The Committee reports to the Parish Council.
  1. Committee meetings may take place by digital means if it is not possible to meet in person.
  1. The Committee’s aims are:
  2. To work with the community benefit society Longparish Community Pub Limited (‘LCPL’) to secure The Plough Inn, Longparish as a lasting hub and pub for the benefit of the community of Longparish; and
  3. To facilitate support and good communications between LCPL and the Parish Council for the long-term benefit of the community.
  4. In pursuit of these aims power and authority are delegated to the Committee to take steps that they consider necessary for this purpose.
