Proposal under discussion

To establish a youth group providing a meeting place, activities, information and support for young people in the village.

Outline of initial thoughts

To hold one session a month within Longparish, supervised by adult volunteers and with assistance from youth support services.

To organise one activity every 3 months to be held outside the village.

We can consider having more sessions if both the demand from the youngsters and the necessary support from volunteers is available.

The young people will be expected to make a small financial contribution to the costs.

We expect the Community Association will be able to raise funds from grant bodies to provide some equipment for the group and to subsidise the activities.

The Community Association will also organise any necessary training, insurance, registration etc associated with the youth group's activities
