Work groups update
The four work groups summarised their findings as detailed below.
As a first step Fiona Gould offered to draft an outline Plan resulting from the work group findings. It was agreed the format should enable multiple use of the Plan by different audiences, i.e. the village, and external bodes who can help to take proposals forward, and it should be easily digestible, yet informative.
The detail should cover the key issues that have been raised such as:
The four work group leaders should send Fiona their input by Monday 20/12/04. Action: All leaders.
Fiona offered to draw up a draft plan by 05/01/05 prior to the Finance Committee meeting. Action: FG
The four work groups summarised their reports, as follows.

We can take free Associate Membership of “Make Space” youth organisation.
We can take a year's membership of Community Matters for £19.75. Meeting agreed that we should apply for this. Action: FG.
Prepare to get something more solid as to funding. Base initial grant on multi-use. Action: FG.
Spaces/Environment (David Wright)
No changes to the document circulated dated 17/11/04, but some items to be added which were omitted:
Cemetery, allotments, playground, football field.

It was suggested we make a recommendation, highlighting safeguards; scale envisaged of development; backfill or front fill?
Include mechanism to express support or disagreement.
Should there be a consultation before planning application is made?
Restate affordable housing should stay affordable in perpetuity.
