| Welcome to Longparish Playgroup |
|
Playgroup started in 1988 in the Sports and Social Club behind the Village Hall. In November 2005 we moved into our permanent home - a purpose built annexe of Longparish School which opens out onto its own fenced off outside area. We have an entrance lobby where children leave their coats and wellies, a main playroom with wet play area, a quiet bay with a computer for children's use and a book corner, two children's toilets and a kitchen and staff room. We were recently inspected by Ofsted, and we were very pleased with what they had to say. View the full inspection report.
We also have all weather safety surfacing, complete with a climbing frame and slide, so we can use the outside area all year round.
There is a bird table and a bird box with a camera in it which is connected to the children's computer. The children really enjoy watching the birds go about their daily business! |

We are a small, friendly and very happy playgroup, with an extremely warm and welcoming team of qualified staff. Claire, Pauline, Di, Kristy, Sharron, Clare and Penny work hard to produce a variety of colourful and challenging activities for all the children.
Outside we have planters and a garden area where we grow plants for all the senses, including fruit and vegetables we can eat.
